There may be some who feel that attention to politics doesn't have any place in a preparedness blog and should be kept separate. That doesn't reflect my feelings or belief. Paying attention to what is taking place politically is, in my opinion, crucial so as not to be caught unprepared.
We must search out good and righteous men and women to stand in our halls of government, to represent us and our REPUBLIC in a manner that does not offend the God of this nation. Can we in good conscience justify picking "the lesser of two evils" when we have done nothing to promote righteous choices?
Even if we are nonchalant in our own behalf, don't we want more for tomorrow's children? Why are we so anxious to trade their birthright for our own fleeting mess of pottage? Have we become so short-sighted, so selfish and so self-serving that we are willing to sell our children into bondage?
Stop leaving it for someone else to do, clean-up or correct. Be part of the solution and be actively involved.
And buckle your seat belt, we're in for a bumpy ride.
GOT PREPS?
Great Nations Rise and Fall
Great nations rise and fall - the people go from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back again into bondage.
- Robert Muntzel, Manage Magazine, January 1961 -
Do you ever wonder where we are in the cycle?
Just thought I'd ask . . .
Just thought I'd ask . . .
D&C 98:8-10
I, the Lord God, make you free, therefore ye are free indeed; and the law also maketh you free. Nevertheless, when the wicked rule the people mourn. Wherefore, honest men and wise men should be sought for diligently, and good men and wise men ye should observe to uphold; otherwise whatsoever is less than these cometh of evil.

This newsletter is not what I would call political. You did not name names, tell anyone how to vote, promote any issues, or attempt to explain any positions. You encouraged us to vote, to participate in the political process, to to do our duty as citizens of our nation, etc. There is a difference. Thank you for your encouragement in that area. It is important and always needed.
And, by the way, I am not anonymous, but it seemed to be the only way I could get this post to take last time I commented. I am actually, Sandra Gibson or sandra@aznex.net
Notice how the cycle is a lot like the cycles on the Mayan calendar.
I enjoyed your item this month. I print them off every month because I hold a huge job in preparedness and use your material in it. It it always great to see what you do for the next month. I wish more people felt this way and maybe we wouldn't be in the mess it is right now. Thnak you for all your insights. I hope you are blessed for all you do help. Barbara
